About Fitness BMI Calculator

Fitness BMI Calculator started from a simple frustration. Most BMI tools online show only the global WHO ranges, so a person in India with a BMI of 24 is told they are normal while their doctor calls it overweight. We wanted one place that shows both readings, explains why they differ and then helps with the next question: how much should I weigh for my height, how much should I eat, how far is my walk.

Every page on fitnessbmicalculator.com answers one question at a time. A calculator sits near the top, the answer is in the first lines, and the rest of the page explains the number in everyday Indian terms: kg and cm, feet and inches, roti and dal, steps and km.

What you will find here

  • BMI calculators for men, women, children and pregnancy, with Indian and WHO bands.
  • Healthy weight for every adult height from 4 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 4 inches.
  • Calorie, BMR, TDEE, protein and body fat calculators.
  • Calories burned in walking, running, cycling, yoga, sports and home exercise, plus steps to km converters.

What we are not

Fitness BMI Calculator is an independent information site. We are not a clinic, a hospital, an insurer or a government body, and nothing here is personal medical advice. Our numbers come from published formulas and public health guidance, and every page tells you when to talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian.
